In the summer of 2005, Daouda went to Germany invited by his younger brother Tonton Sylla, a well-renouned drummer, and stayed there for two months to perform and give lessons. About Diye Gnohomouna The group is currently busy performing in wedding ceremonies, cerebration of childbirth and other events. They are highly recognized by local people, the severest critiques of the world. The group members are cheerful, talented, hardworking and caring. It's a small group with djembe, doundoun and four dancers only but the traditional music they play is powerful and a good treat for your heart. The first performance as a group was at Famoudou Konate's house in January 2005 and they played in front of Famoudou's students and local people. The performance went successfully. Famoudou liked the performance so much that he gave them a chance to give a concert for the second time in the same year.
