This is a short sequence that appeared as a promotion that celebrated 100 years of Australian cinema. It appeared on some home videos released in Australia in 1995. The sequence contains short clips from a variety of films: Muriel's Wedding, Romper Stomper, Dead Calm, Crocodile Dundee, Storm Boy, The Year My Voice Broke, Picnic at Hanging Rock, etc etc. The very first short clip you see is from The Story of the Kelly Gang (1906). In 2007, the film was recognised by UNESCO as the world's first ever narrative feature film. It had an original running time of over 70 minutes. Only about 17 minutes are said to have survived the passing of time.
