When Maki realized Yamapi has amnesia she decided to back down and forget about everything since he was legally engaged to another woman. Maki was struggling whether to fight for their love but she found it meaningles to force him to remember her and she truly believed that he'll remember her when the time comes. However Maki's best friend Yukari (Ichikawa Yui) couldn't understand her decision and tried her best to make Maki stand up for herself. After crashing Yamapi's wedding Maki realized it was too late. They have already started the ceremony. She couldn't bring herself to ruin someone elses marriage due to her own selfish reasons. At the same time Yamapi's fiance (Nagasawa Masami) felt guilty for not telling the whole truth to Yamapi. She could'nt bare to see him suffer like that so she decided to call off the wedding to give both of them some time to think it through. About the final episode ...I may not be releasing one so that's why there are some spoiler scenes and dialogs in the end.
