Weddings in Morocco vary greatly depending on the region. This wedding in the farmland of Beni Mellal lasted 3 days. The sombre tone of the mens' section is a reflection of a more fundamental element that has been creeping into the Moroccan culture. It is not usual for a Moroccan wedding. The Moroccan government has been rigorously fighting this wahabi influence and replacing it with Sufism.
